During the night Bryan rested in between the hourly checks and told Merrie and Becky this morning last night had good parts and bad parts but was so grateful for his nurse, Nora. Becky called several times during the night to check in and Merrie polished off a huge Hersey's special dark chocolate bar ("Thanks Debbie!!").
10:30am Bryan is presently having a CAT Scan, which is done regularly to insure the procedure went as planned without complications. They are expecting today to sit him up in the chair, allow him to eat what ever he wants to eat, and stay comfortable. They are keeping a close monitor on him with hourly checks. 11:10am- Bryan is back from the CAT Scan and all checks out well.
This week they'll continue to keep a close eye on him with no more procedures planned for the week. They are just giving him (his brain) time to adjust.
Last night the Ray Boltz song, "The Anchor Holds" was running through Merrie's mind and she knows that the Lord has been their Anchor throughout this whole process. Below is the chorus of the song:
The anchor holds Though the ship is battered The anchor holds Though the sails are torn I have fallen on my knees As I faced the raging seas The anchor holds In spite of the storm

Dear Bryan,
I've been following your progress daily, and I don't think anyone will ever doubt the power of prayer! I have so many people here at the Resort praying as well.
So very glad everything is going as scheduled, and procedures have been so successful and encouraging.
Guess so many prayers went to you, the Patriots didn't get any! I was hoping the loss wasn't going to be a setback for you, but obviously not.
Thanks to Jenny for her taking the time to keep us all posted! It was so good of you Jenny to do this.
You are loved by so many Bryan, and we all have so much to be thankful for. My thoughts and prayers have been and will continue to be with you, Becky, your Mom, Dad and Jenny!
Love ya,
Kisa
Becky -
Our thoughts and prayers go to you and your husband. Jeff and Alex and I are thinking about you and praying for Bryan.

Hi BK,
I was so shocked when I heard the news of your illness but now I am so happy to hear that things are going well for you and these procedures are successful. It is great that your sister takes the time to write this blog or else we would have no idea what was happening with you, thank her for me. Let's take this happening as a sign that we shouldn't let our friends out of our lives for too long without touching base and get together as soon as you are up for it. My prayers are with you and your family and hope to see you very soon. Love, Suebee
Bryan,
I guess the procedure was more than just a clean up, as you described it to be. Well, I'm very glad it went well. With nothing happening until next Monday, you'll have lots of time to practice Fluxx and Turn the Tide among other games. Good news for you, bad news for me. Give Becky and your parents a fighting chance.
I hope the valium did its job Sunday night. I could have used some.
See ya bud,
Tom
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see so clearly
Chorus:
Hallelujah, grace like rain falls down on me
Hallelujah, all my stains are washed away, washed away
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
Chorus
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing Your praise
Than when we first begun
Bryan,
Great to see that you are doing well! I will hold down the fort until you get back, well, maybe. Stay positive and I can't wait to have lunch at the club with you.
Best,
Mike
Hey Bryan:
I remember those PVCS jokes about you and your big head! I just let others be the first to bring them up. Just wanted to let you know that like tons of others I've been checking the blog and been praying constantly. Our YAM group at BBC will lift you all up in prayer tonight. Another quote for you: Until my work on this earth is done I am immortal, but when my work is done I get to be with Jesus! I think business minded folks call that a win - win! Praying for you all,
Josh Abel
Bryan and Becky,
We continue to pray for you and your family. Its good to hear that everything is going well and you are still in good spirits! You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers!

Merrie-- if you need more chocolate please have Joe let me know. There is more where that came from.
I have such a level of expectancy for how the Lord wants to use all of you while you are at Tufts. Look forward to hearing how He does it.
Bryan-- Just relax, continue to laugh as always and be nice to your two girls--Becky and Mom. Do you need any reading material or anything. Cookies etc???
Becky-- How about you? Can I bake your favorite? Pass it on through Joe.
Joe-- We keep praying for much grace for your travels back and forth each day.
All of kyou are in our prayers continually. We love you!
Love,
Tim & Debbie
Bryan and Becky,
I was checking Justin's blog and read his post about you. I wanted to let you know that I'll be praying for you both, and I'm thankful that everything has gone well so far.

PRAISE GOD that Bryan is coming through all of this so well!! It's amazing to read these updates and visibly SEE the power of prayer - He is so incredibly good. :) That Ray Boltz song is such an awesome reminder of who it is we serve - and in whose arms we can always rest. Blessings to you guys!!
Hi dear ones,
Praise God! His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness!!
another day closer to full recovery and 'normal' life, whatever that means :):)
My most favorite scripture of all and my 'life' verses are in Lamentations 3:21-26. May those verses encourage your heart today!
We continue to remember all of you before God's throne of abundant grace, mercy and love!
betsy, with Jim, Virginia and girls
Thank you Jenny for all the updates. Our family will continue to pray for you guys. Hang in there Bri! He is our Jehovah Rophe.
