TGIF

Well I (Jenny) actually got to talk to Bubba this morning. My mom had her cell phone in the room when I called her. I got them when they were alone in the room so no nurse could object.

He sounded great. His usual chatty self. He told me he was feeling really good. and how annoyed the nighttime hourly bright light in the eyes was. He told me how hungry he gets when they won't let him eat, but now he can eat whatever he wants because he isn't having any medical prcedure doing again until Monday. He was able to tell me the story of this whole ordeal from his point of view.

He told me how much he appreciates your comments....He told me several times.

As you know, Bryan thrives on people and hearing from all of you means so much to him. The prayers are a huge encouragment. Becky and my mom have been counting the states and countries that have people praying for him..... It's amazing how many people all over the world have been covering Bryan in prayer. And we know there are people we will never know about. But God is good all the time.

Our Aunt Jamie (who lives in the area) brought Bryan some beef stew and challah bread today. She also brought him some Patroits paraphernalia for Sunday.

Thanks again for letting Bry (and Becky and the families) know how much he (and we) are loved.

So glad to hear that all is going well. God is great! Bryan, after a big win Sunday for the Patriots we can start looking forward to ripping 300 yard drives down the middle (in my dreams). Golf season will be here before we know it.

p.s. You do know that you can pick up the phone and order food any time you want while at Tufts(of course providing it's ok with the doctor)....Duncan Dunuts on first floor, too. ;-D

Bryan and Becky,
Today is the three year anniversary of my aneurysm rupturing and changing life as I had known it. I went to college with your sister Jenny! We sat next to eachother in nutrition (the class that is). Anyway, I just wanted you to know that you were on my heart today and I don't think I stopped praying for you all day! Keep up the good work. I remember thr hourly lights in the eyes, and the "what is your name?" "can you tell me where you are?" All I wanted to do is sleep and let my brain heal!! It will get easier with time though! Our prayers continue to be with you!
Sincerely, Lisa (Owen) Warner and hubby Nate!
PS- when you feel better you should check out my website, you may be able to relate to some of my story and healing process!

Brian, Becky and families,
I just wanted to let you know that you have a whole bunch of PA quilters praying for you. We are so glad for this blog to have updates and know that with so many people praying for you that God will keep you in His care! The only thing we are upset about is...... the Steelers aren't in the superbowl!!

We're SO glad to hear that Bryan's procedure went well and that he's feeling more like his usual self :) God is certainly faithful and He will continue to walk with all of you through this. And how great that he'll get to watch the Super Bowl! :) While I can't share in your enthusiasm for the Patriots (GO GIANTS!), I can definitely understand the desire for some normalcy!! Love & Prayers, Aimee and Shane

Hi Bryan,

we've been praying for you all the time. Today at intercessory prayer at church you were on the top of our list. did you know you have three 'step-grannys' here??
Bea, Winnie and my mother in law Virginia. They are mighty prayer warriors! I miss reading you a psalm. :) Anyway we read Psalm 46 today. Maybe your mom or Becky can read it to you. It starts of
"God is our refuge & strenght., a very present help in time of trouble." and near the end says, "Be still and know that I am God...The Lord of hosts is with us,
the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah." You are loved and remembered before HIS throne of grace. with joy, Betsy

Bryan and Becky, sending our love from western Pa! Both of you, your parents and the medical staff have been in our prayers since Becky's mom called us on Sunday. Though we've never 'blogged' before, we really appreciate these updates - thanks Jenny!

Love and prayers,

P.S. Sorry that I'll be cheering for the Giants, but I've been a loyal Eli fan since he played here at Ole Miss.
