prayer needed for strength

Bryan was a little down today. Being out of the ICU and in a new room was another adjustment for him. He didn't get much sleep last night because of the noises and interruptions. He is trying to get used to a new schedule, deal with physcial therapists and just a new atmosphere which is not as attentive as the ICU.

Please pray for strength and encouragment and a speedy healing so Bryan can be home by the weekend.

thank you!!

This is a message from a survivor on the bafound.org website I go to for support! Everyone on the braintree message board is still praying for you, but I just wanted to pass this message along....

That is great that he is out of the ICU!! Freedome to move around!!!

Sounds like he is doing awesome!! God bless him!!
Please tell him he has a lot of prayers here! And a lot of people who will be for him after he is home, to talk to and answer his questions...

Remember he is going to need lots of rest, sleep, keep hydrated well, eat good things!!Blueberries and dark fruit and veggies are the best. Try to stay away from caffien and Soda!!! No lifting, straining or bending over for a while. Let everyone pamper you!!!

Have him start off easy by doing word cirlcle books or computer games to stimulate his brain. The brain needs good REM sleep! He may have a irregular sleeping habit and get fatigued easily for a while, it is normal for brain trauma.

Hopefully his Dr. will address some of these issues before he is released, if not don't be afraid to ask him questions!!
Make a list of questions to ask for Sat. and take notes on what he tells you for after care. The release papers will be very bleek??? Hopefully he will give you his cell phone number? Mine did, and his home phone also. He was a great NS, and good person!!

Take care Jenny, and thanks for the update. Tell the family "Hi" and they are in my prayers too! I am looking forward to hearing from Bryan, he is in my prayers!! Tricia

Hi Bryan,

So happy that the surgery went well and that you are on your way to recovery. Although you will be going home soon the road to recovery can be a long one. You may find simple actions to be huge chores.

Do not get discouraged. Time does and will heal but remember it will take time. Recovery is one of the most important things you will ever do. You are extremely fortunate; you are young and have a great support network.

Best wishes.
