just to keep you posted

Bryan has been doing very well physically. Yesterday he had experienced some "fiery darts", where he was vulnerable most. But as always, God is good and continues to provide for him.

His first night out of the ICU was a little rough because of the new room, a roommate, and so much more noise. Last night he had some headphones and fell asleep to Praise Music, and slept well.

This morning they took out the last IV so Bryan is more mobile, able to move around. They also changed his bandage. So he is all ready to go home, just waiting on the official OK.

Bryan specifically asked for the warriors to keep praying against anymore of those "fiery darts", and especially for a quick recovery and the ability to sleep in his own bed tomorrow night. Bryan is determined and in good spirits toady.

Bryan,
Know you are covered in the blood of Jesus from the top of your head to the tips of your toes!!!! I had a lot of attacks in my dreams and thoughts after my dad died and was overwhelmed with fear. This verse helped me a lot. I often spoke it out..."For God did not give us (me) a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and a sound mind" 2 Timothy 1:7. We are praying for you to have a peace that passes all understanding!!! Lots of love to you!!! Emily

Hi Bryan,

I am praying and lifting you up. The people of God's army have linked shields with you and we are going forward and the powers of darkness will not prevail!

We are also rejoicing with you at the prospect of your homecoming/going!

When I was in the hospital to have Sam and there were many people who said that he may not survive being so small and all, God gave me this verse and it has seen me through many trials, fears and situations. It helps me to get my focus where it needs to be and I pray it does the same for you; brings comfort and helps you repel the fiery darts!

I had the same problem right before they released me. I was excited and afraid and had terrible nightmares! I also was unable to distinguish dreams from reality and my family kept having to convince me that it was a dream. This song by Todd Agnew gave me such peace and I also slept many nights with headphones on listening to praise and worship music. Remember, though it doesn't seem like it now...it will get better. God promises to be with us wherever we go!

PS- you may want sunglasses for the ride home and I also had to close my eyes the whole time or all the motion made me sick. Once the car stopped though I was fine!

the hospital may be able to give you sunglasses that they use for eye surgeries. They are flimsy and won't hurt your head if it is still tender....just a thought! *Lisa
