"GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS"

The surgery is done!!

At 7:20pm the Dr came out to the waiting room, where Becky, Joe, and Merrie were, and said that the surgery was very successful. They got out the AVM and cleaned up the original bleed. He also said the risk of bleeding again over the next 24 hours is much lower because of the success of the surgery.

They are getting Bryan out of the anesthsia now and wheeled him to his ICU room. Joe is headed home because of the huge snow storm approaching, but Merrie and Becky get to go see him in about 45 min.

Bryan will be uncomfortable for a few days, but then he will be ready to go home this weekend. After the next 24 hours in the ICU, they will move Bryan to a regular room while he recovers for a few days.

God is so faithful and so good. Thank you for praying. Please continue to pray for Bryan as he goes through recovery. Keep the comments coming, Bryan really looks forward to them.

AMEN! Merrie, Becky, Jenny, Joe, and of course Bryan: You are an inspiration to be able to turn yourselves and the situation over to God so fully. May we all learn from you.

I am so thankful for the success of the surgery. Thank God for the superior care you have gotten from the start of this horrendous ordeal.

May Gods light shine on, in and through you throughout the next days and weeks and always.

Yahoo! We are so grateful for this. Continuing to pray for you, Bryan, with thanksgiving, for the rest of the recovery process--- this was just about the best news we've had in a long time. What a huge blessing and answer to the heartfelt prayers of so many all over the world! What a great thing that we could all join together to help by lifting you all up to the Lord.

Becky we are proud of you...Merrie and Joe, we are also praying for you, and are looking forward to talking on the phone, once things have settled down a bit and Bryan is back at home.
With love in our Messiah,
Janie & Steve

Prayed for your surgery ALL day! Now we will pray for your recovery to be as speedy as it can be. Remember it takes longer for the brain to heal, take it easy and rest when your body tells you to (when you can of course)!! Blessings, Lisa Owen- Warner

Dearest Merrie & Family-
I have been faithfully following Jenny's amazing blog. Thank you for this list of miracles. I have never met you Bryan and Jennie, but through your mother's love I have heard about you both - and I know that you have one proud mother! And such faith - wonderful faith! It has been an encouragement and a blessing to be a part of the cirlce that prays for all of! Thank you for your witness. And Becky, I can only imagine how wonderful it will be to get your husband home!
With love and gratitude for letting us all in on the miracle.
